Are you ready for some more Jemez fun? Trails we hvae not taken this summer so here's your opportuntiy to see some new areas but all on the new travel management map. A Later Start for those comeing from farther away. Meet at Walatowa Gas Station, next to Walatowa Visitor Center Jemez Mts, 9:00 am, Leave at 9:30 am , SHARP. Bring food, water, full tank of gas., dress for weather. CB radio, recovery points front and back, are important. A stock 4x4, high clearance, low range equipped, and good tires recommended. Contact me if you have any concerns. These trails may have downed trees and narrow areas please bring tools if you want to ensure we get through. I want this trail to be wide enough for my Raptor.
Since we are not allowed to cross the river any more we will take the back way up around Guadalupe Canyon. I have not been up there for 2 years so I am not sure how the roads will be.
