UPDATE 11/20/14: Our interview will occur in the middle to the end of the show, so I slid the arrival time by 1/2 hour. Show up between 4:30 and 5:00, then we will drive over when prompted.
It is that time again to start up our annual food drive. This will be the club’s 7th year doing this and it has become a tradition. We will be collecting food donations at club functions leading up to the expected drop-off day, Saturday November 22 during the KOB TV Live broadcast at ABQ Uptown.
We invite you to load up your 4x4 with food donations to drop off during this live broadcast. It is a great experience in kicking off the Holiday Season by giving. If you cannot or don’t wish to participate in the drop-off, I encourage everybody to bring food donations to any club function prior to the 22nd. As was done last year, an extra ticket will be given for the club’s 50/50 raffle to anyone who brings a food or monetary donation to the September, October, and November club meetings. There will be more detail coming. Here are some donation suggestions from the Roadrunner Food Bank:
DO:
- Donate Non-Perishable Items
- Donate Foods You Would Like To Eat
- Give Cash Donations
