Participant Responsibility Notice
New Mexico 4-Wheelers guests and members will be meeting for a group activity as indicated below. Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of their own vehicles and should evaluate obstacles based on their own comfort and experience level and vehicle capability.
This is a volunteer recreational activity. Participants are responsible for their own safety, vehicle operation, and compliance with land-use rules.

The San Mateo Mtns have a fun mixture of easy to moderate trails and great scenery!
We will meet in Socorro and caravan down to the San Mateo Mtns for air down when we hit dirt. We will wander up and over mesas and wind down through arroyos. The area includes mining history and beautiful views of the Magdelena Mtns from the south.
Stock vehicles should be ok. Trailered rigs should be ok, we can find a place for you to unload closer to the air down spot.
Rig Requirements:
33" - 35" tires recommended
Lifts always good but shouldn't be required
Winches always good but hopefully not mandatory
Air down/Air up capability (I have a spare compressor I can loan out)
GMRS radio (I have two handhelds I can loan out)
Lunch on the trail, so bring food and chairs.
If you are new to Wheeling, come along and build your skills!
