New Mexico OHV Enthusiasts: We Want to Hear From You!

Dear New Mexico OHV Enthusiast,

The National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation Council (NOHVCC) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to creating a positive future for off-highway vehicle (OHV) recreation. To learn more about NOHVCC and our mission, please visit www.nohvcc.org.

NOHVCC is partnering with the New Mexico Off Highway Vehicle Alliance (NMOHVA) to better understand the needs, interests, and priorities of OHV enthusiasts throughout New Mexico. Your input is essential to helping us identify opportunities to improve access to high-quality OHV recreation experiences across the state.

We want to hear from you about:

Your feedback will help inform future statewide strategies and action plans designed to enhance OHV recreation opportunities and improve the areas and trail systems you enjoy.

Join Us for a Community ListeningSession

To gather input from OHV enthusiasts, clubs, organizations, and other interested members of the public, NOHVCC will host a series of community listening sessions throughout New Mexico from November 12–16, 2026.

We invite you to attend the session most convenient for you and share your experiences, ideas, and suggestions.

All listening sessions will be held from 7:00–8:30 p.m.

Listening Session Schedule

Work Together to Improve OHV Recreation in New Mexico

These listening sessions are not being organized by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). However, representatives from the BLM and other state and federal agencies have been invited to participate. Agency representatives will be available to discuss current travel management processes and explain how public input may help inform future planning and management decisions.

The sessions will also provide an opportunity to connect with national, state, and local agency representatives, fellow OHV enthusiasts, club members, and other concerned citizens. These conversations can help identify shared priorities and create opportunities for partnerships that support responsible OHV recreation and improve the management of public lands.

Your participation matters. The more input we receive from New Mexico's OHV community, the better equipped we will be to develop meaningful strategies and action plans that reflect the needs of riders and the future of OHV recreation throughout the state.

Please join us, share your ideas, and encourage your fellow club members, family, and riding partners to participate.
