16 4x4's meet in Socorro, NM. Nice day.Traveled down I-25 to CR 107. Aired down in foothills of San Mateo Mts. Traveled Forest roads. Drove down into East Red canyon, had lunch and enjoyed the steep canyon walls. Traveled into two other nearby canyons . Some went on home in late afternoon. Rest of the group climbed up a steep , rugged forest road to the trailhead of Skeleton Ridge . Turned back down hill and drove back out on CR 107. Great day, no issues. Much more to explore out in the beautiful , remote area of New Mexico.
