Jemez Ride . . August 8, 2020

Thirteen 4x4's showed up for this ride, starting in San Ysidro, NM. We drove to Cuba ,NM and entered the Jemez via Hwy 126. Turned onto dirt and aired down on FR 103. Our goal was to drive on FR's north of the Valle Grande, and check out some rarely traveled roads on the MVUM.

We checked out FR 317, 100, 317K. Tricky to see the start of FR 317K off of FR 100. We had lunch in a  nice open meadow, near FR 100 and Fr 317 junction. These were rugged roads, and very nice to explore. Many thought they are worth using in the future.

We returned to FR 316, and went to FR 458 and climbed up the switch backs to the top of the mesa. We returned to HWY 126 via FR 453 and Fr 144. 

Dusty conditions. Richard Steele was the tail-gunner. We had 2 first time guests along and they said they enjoyed our club ride.
