This was planned as a long day ride into the Gallinas Division of the Mountainair Ranger District but due to forecasted bad weather we started home about 2:30pm. It was a road trip to just past Corona and into the Gallinas area. Corona is about 105 miles from Albuquerque. The trails were all on the Mountainair Motorized Vehicle Utilization Map (MVUM). We came out on Hwy 55 south of Mountainair and the Grand Quire National Monument. This was a remote area. Everything on the ride went well.
