We had 28 people and 19 vehicles enjoy absolutely perfect weather exploring Gordy's Hill. I discovered that one negative of a large group is not getting time to mingle with everyone throughout the day. This is especially true when the 'Exploratory' part of the day had some surprises. We spent the morning on the north half of the area, then lunch, then an an arc through the south side. That got a bit 'Moderate', but no one volunteered to take the easy bypasses.
We ended the day with a trip up to Vista Grande, where there was only a nice light breeze and the views were great! The experimental aspects of the day didn't work out as planned, especially coming to a no-gate fence and having to turn 19 rigs around in an arroyo. Everyone was troopers though and as they say, "A good time was had by all."
