Jeff went to southern Utah on a 6 day Overlanding trip with 8 other 4x4's. Some from Albuquerque, New York, Cali. Nevada, Chicago. We went on Poison Spring Canyon road into the CanyonLands Nat Park. We camped the first night at the DollHouse, just above the Colorado River. Windy. Sand blowing. Hiked down to the Colorado River the next day. Removed a Midget Faded Rattlesnake. Very poisonous bite, next to my rear wheel.
Two nights there. Exited park and camped next night in Blue Notch Canyon next to Lake Powell. Windy.
Next day found connector road from Blue Notch Canyon to Red Canyon. Checked out some mine sites on way out of Red Canyon.
Last night camped off of Cottonwood Wash road. No wind , beautiful night. Next day checked out Over/Under Ruins. Friend used his drone to get close up look at ruins.
Great trip. One mechanical, a sidewall puncture when a guy caught a sharp rock driving out of camp.
