Well, the ride is over. It was a short day. Not lots of rocks, no water crossings, no mud, no snow, no rain.
However, we did encounter a steep hill that had ruts and unknow dips at the top.
We made a hike to the top of a cliff with great views and Native American ruins. Those ruins held pottery sherds and splendid views of the surrounding valleys and mesa and the river that cut those canyons and as a result any approaching enemies.
