18 4x4's lined up at WALATOWA Gas station and drove up highway 4 and 126. We got to the top of Ojitos Mesa for lunch. Great views of Fenton Lake 600 ft below us.
After lunch, some of us headed home and the rest took a rugged washed out forest road, through a cool canyon. Several deep mud puddles, and twisty roads.
After airing up , most of the group drove down to El Bruno's in Cuba, NM, and had great food and a good time visiting.
low 70 degree weather, clear and beautiful.
PS No tree limb is safe with Toby , the tree grabbing dog in the back seat!!
