5 rigs braved the predicted snow and rain today, which turned out to be just a very slight late morning drizzle. It did give us a few slick spots that gave us a chance to use the winches in tricky places. We started on Hidden Valley, then on to Bad Hair Day, down Fred's Shortcut, then up and down Upper Amado, playing on the optional ledges. Ended the day going down lower Amado which was again a completely different trail going in reverse and due to ever-changing boulder and gravel movements. Was a great group, working together and lots of spotting to get everyone up and over the tricky spots! Lower Amado took yet another chunk off Mary's JL (license plate holder). Pete Voller's CJ5 and Myron Meyer's TJ were the smaller rigs of the day and proved up to the task with excellent driving skills by both. We were off the trails by 4, and a fun and exciting day for all!
