We adventured through a devastated land. Wrecked by fire. It is still quite beautiful to be on the trails in Los Alamos. The thought of what the forest must have looked like before the fire crossed minds.
we set off for the trails by 9am and reached back up to the air up location just passed the shooting range around 3:30/4. Some of us ventured for guaje trail and went up it turned around and came back down.
boundaries were observed but not crossed. Thankfully all gated areas are clearly marked. Archaeological areas were visited and any items seen were left in place and not touched. The area seems to be respected by visitors. I personally didn't spot any trash along the trail. Looking forward to bring more rides in this area.
