Participant Responsibility Notice
New Mexico 4-Wheelers guests and members will be meeting for a group activity as indicated below. Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of their own vehicles and should evaluate obstacles based on their own comfort and experience level and vehicle capability.
This is a volunteer recreational activity. Participants are responsible for their own safety, vehicle operation, and compliance with land-use rules.
Let's take a pre-meeting run to Cedro Peak since we lose some Summer Saturdays due to the club meeting.
Let's follow the route we did on the Cedro Peak Full Moon Ride in 2025 and Go Topless in May 2026. This route will take us through some ruts, rocks, and easy forest trails. Looking ahead to the weather forecast, there is a chance of moisture in the forecast, so that means there is an increased possibility of mud. Don't forget about "The Steps" On Cedro Peak Road.
This is a rain or shine event.
Since it's a short drive from the City and a short ride, let's meet at the 462 Trailhead (intersection of NM-337 and Forest Road 462) by 8:00am, air down as soon as you arrive, depart by 8:30am.
- no tire minimum, but you better have full underbody protection
- lockers recommended
- Tow strap and/or winch
- Front & rear recovery points required
- Air down/up capability
- Rigs should be in good mechanical condition
Bring water, snacks, and trail chairs -> Bring the pups along too.
